It started at the front desk, they were so welcoming. The dental assistant Melissa was so sweet and was really interested in what was going on. Melissa took numerous x-rays and pictures explaining as she went. Dr. Chen reviewed all my x-rays and told me her concerns and gave me options. “Dr. Chen was so gentle with both my kids, one of whom is autistic. As parents of autistic kids know, dental care can be overwhelmingly difficult, sometimes requiring sedation for even just a cleaning. Dr. Chen and Jessica, her assistant, took great care with my daughter’s needs, were very open to and genuinely curious about what was helpful. Explained everything in detail, as requested by my daughter. Complimented her on how well she was doing, checked in with her to make sure all was well, and gave her breaks when she asked. They were very patient and went that extra mile, working with us to make sure we were as comfortable as possible.  “I’ve been going to Dr. Chen for over a year. She is so kind and really takes the time to get to know her patients and ensure they have the best oral care. I really like that Dr. Chen is considerate of my pocketbook. At my last visit I had to have something done that wasn’t covered by my insurance. Dr. Chen wanted to make sure I was comfortable proceeding and gave me an option to come back another day if that was better for me. The cost was not much at all, but she left it up to me.... I chose to continue and she was able to do the procedure during the visit to save me the hassle of coming a second time.
